[Into the Fray Again || Zelda 2]

GAAHN!!

At 00:35 seconds, it makes a very noticable and painfull twang that totally sets it off it's track. But then it recovers, and turns out rather nicely. But still not deserving of a ten. It goes down from a nine because of 00:35, but it still scores well.

Very nicely done. Honestly I have no clue what Breath of Fire is but this music is still enchanting. It really sounds like worn old man telling stories of days gone by, with the young so blissfully unaware that the storyteller speaks of himself. The only thing that keeps this from a ten is that the instruments at the end sound fake. I know that it was done with software, and not actual instruments, but I've heard better from software music. IT was still great, though. It just barely missed out on a 10.

I can't give it a ten though. It has to be beyond awesome for a ten. So you get a 9. Sorry, mate, but very few things get a 10 out of me. But still, awesome job!

Not what I'd call a march, but it was still good. It's just that, marches are supposed to be more commanding, and are set to a pace that is easy to march to (hence we call them marches). This song is more, well, old Disney move-ish, and the pace is set at a rather slow step, which is usually for marches ALOT more somber than this. But it was still good. Nicely done.

Navi actually wasn't annoying this time!! Bonus points!! I love the mood transitions, it just flows so seemlessly. Ah, if I only had a Gamecube, I could get Twilight Princess... *sigh* And no, I'm not getting a Wii, because there are only two games I would ever want to get for it, so it would be a waste of money. And I bet you could guess which two, It's not hard to tell. Anyway, once again, nicely done!

Once again, you do amazingly, even in techno. I would love to hear an orchestral version of this, with the instrumentals and vocals, mixed with deep percussion and somber strokes on the piano. *sigh* I've really come to like yor music. Keep up the fantastic work. And I think this makes the third 10 you get from me, two of them in the same day. Heh heh nyaan. Outstanding. Hmm? I never even noticed it restart itself while I was typing, it flows that flawlessly. You are definitley my favorite artist in the Audio Portal... regardless of the fact that I have only barely scrathed the surface of the fathoms of works. Anyone who gets THREE 10's from me is either REALLY good, or REALLY lucky. Preferably good.

Very good, as I've come to expect from you. I never owned StarFox Adventures, but I played it at my cousin's house... till he dissconected his Gamecube and forgot about it. He's legally blind, you see, so he usually plays dvd's and music on his PS2 and his Xbox. He used to see better (hence the fact that he has a Gamecube in the first place) but over time his eyes have worsened... meh. Anyway, back to the topic, even though I did play the game, I never got far. Somehow the save files kept being deleted, so I never got very far past the finding of Krystal's staff. But somehow the song still seemed to remind me of the game, and reading the other reviews synched for me... Ah, crud, long off-topic review. Meh, people are probably going to rate is as useless, too... but who cares?! I review on my own time, and that's how it should be, nyaan! Anyway (again), nice job. Keep up the amazing work!

I just noticed something... I've given you a 10 recently, for the Hymn of Fayth. Do you remember that "feeling" I mentioned that I give 10s for? Guess what. You've done it again. It really feels like a "Christmas morning" song, waking up excitedly and tearing through your presents, or maybe even a "Christmas Eve" song, running around at the last minute (we all do it) to finish getting one or two last things, and then coming home to find a suprise Christmas party waiting for you. I can definitley picture many scenes with this music playing in the backround. Once again, very well done. Cheers!

It sounds like it would go well as backround music for an adventure game or something. Very nice. Even though it was a "spur-of-the-moment" piece, when I draw, that's how I do it. I just draw what comes to mind, and it usually turns out very well. Argentum Reflection worked out pretty much the same way. Oh, and don't worry, my volume is always up 50% or higher, so there was no problem, nyaan.

I agree with Darkman. It was great up till the record sounds, that just totally shattered the feel. If I may make a request, could you make an alternate version that leaves out the record bit, and maybe the techno bit, too. A soft tune, done right on the piano, could hold the heart just as well, if not better than a piece that tries to mix in the soft, mournfull sounds of the keystrokes with techno, or electric guitar. Even if you just take out the record scratching, it would still be a captivating tune, but more so (I believe) if it stuck to the somber strokes of the piano keys.

BTW I still get spooked by the gameboy tones whenever I go through Lavender Town. *sigh*, such a pretty name, but such a sorrowfull little place.

The song was originally just a composition on my piano. I've thought of going back and just doing the roots of it, but right now my computer with all my music programming has crashed.... again .... I need to stop buying "bargain" computers...
